He came through fire through smoke and flame
There was something ’bout him — proud strong no shame.
A German Shepherd like those I’d seen
On this broken ground or in peaceful dreams.
The kind I’d see on walks before
Raised to guard to fight in war.
But this one’s heart was rigged and scarred
A silent soldier beaten hard.

He took a comrade who’d fought with me
Another Shepherd brave and free.
We trained we slept in the same old tent
But now their lives are both long spent.
Two good boys who shared the fight
Now vanished in one flash of light.

No bark no whine just smoke and blood
Their collars gone their training mud.
Two Shepherds lost in war’s cruel breath
Both brought down by senseless death.

We are the ones they taught to kill
No guard no play no time to heal.
No home no name no love to feel —
Just loyal hearts turned into steel.
They forged our souls into a flame
Then left us broken lost to blame.

I smelled their fur I saw the flash
Now the air is full of ash.
The sand turned red the fire flew —

Those boys had hearts more pure more true…

We are the dogs they dressed for war

They used their trust their noble pride
To make them fall to make them die.
One wore the bomb one took the blast
And just like that — they’re fading fast.

We are the dogs of shattered trust
Our bones now buried in the dust.
They forged us deep from love so raw
Then used our hearts to fuel their war.

The ones we lost were just like me —
